Meet our Staff

Dr. Rebecca Gambs, OD

As a native of Tuscarawas County, Dr. Gambs is grateful for the opportunity to bring her knowledge and training in eye care home to her community. She takes pride in treating each of her patients like family.

A Claymont Mustang alum, she went on to attend Mount Union College where she obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Biology. She continued her studies at the Ohio State University College of Optometry where she completed her Doctorate of Optometry in 2011.

She is currently a member of the New Philadelphia Lion's Club, Ohio Optometric Association, and American Optometric Association.

Dr. Gambs enjoys music. Her all time favorite band is Pearl Jam! She loves traveling to new places and especially enjoys the outdoors. Camping, hiking, kayaking, and boating are some of her favorite pastimes. She spends her free time with her husband, her young son, and their two dogs.

Sue

Meet our longtime allied professional, Sue. You may see her at the front desk where she has been welcoming patients to our office on North Broadway for many years.

​Sue has spent much of her career in medical administration. Her unparalled experience and knowledge in the eye care field will ensure a smooth and informative experience for our patients, whether you have questions about insurance or eye wear.

Sue and her husband reside locally and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her lovely grandchildren

Levi

 You may meet Levi in the optical where he performs glasses adjustments and glasses repairs. He is a lover of eyewear that is both attractive and functional.

​Levi has brought with him his previous experience in the healthcare field working as an orthopedic surgical assistant. His surgical precision in glasses adjustments does not go unnoticed. His previous experience in management and merchandising keeps our optical shop running smoothly and looking good.

In his free time, Levi enjoys learning new music on the guitar and ukulele. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys traveling and hiking in the mountains. He also spends a lot of time at home farming.

Marissa

 You will likely see Marissa first when you enter our doors. She is dedicated to getting your immediate questions and concerns regarding your eye exams answered.
